These classes are designed to help your child understand about the different varieties of dance class. This will help your child understand what is expected of them when they move on to the more advanced classes. Each beginning class will start to learn the basics of each style and what makes it special and unique. These classes are designed to create a nurturing and fun environment for every student. Ages 4-6 years

 Jazz

This class is a fun and energetic style of movement. This class will introduce students to traditional jazz technique and help improve overall body coordination, isolation, and flexibility. Student’s will put their minds to the test each week by memorizing choreography and working on a simple combination of steps.


Hip Hop

This class serves as an introduction to hip hop dance for the younger student. Using games and music, the class focuses on rhythm, musicality, and basic footwork. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a combination of steps each week of class.


 Ballet

This class will introduce young dancers to the basic ballet vocabulary and technique in a structured yet fun setting. Simple coordination, musicality, rhythm, and concentration will be emphasized. Dancers will work on ballet posture, flexibility, leg strength, and graceful upper body movements. Dancers will start to understand what makes ballet special and why it is important for all other styles of dance.


Combo Ballet-Tap
This class combines the technique of ballet and the basics of tap. Dancers will work on body awareness and coordination. Simple coordination, musicality, rhythm, and concentration will be emphasized. Dancers will learn how to control their feet and ankles to create different rhythms and beats. Each week dancers will test their knowledge by combining steps to make music with their feet.


 Acrobatics

This class will introduce students to the art of acrobatics. Dancers will work on flexibility, agility, and motor coordination. In this class dancers will combine elements of dance and acrobatics as well as learn basic floor gymnastics.
