Class Makeup & Membership Cancellation Policy
At Studio Fusion Dance, our goal is to provide consistent, high-quality instruction while
maintaining a fair and organized class schedule for all of our dancers. The following
policies apply to class makeups, membership changes, and class cancellations.

CLASS MAKEUP POLICY
Studio Fusion understands that occasionally a dancer may need to miss a regularly
scheduled class. To provide flexibility while maintaining appropriate class sizes and
instructional consistency, currently enrolled dancers may be eligible for makeup classes
under the following guidelines:

  •  Makeup classes are available to currently enrolled dancers only.
  •  Dancers may receive a maximum of three (3) makeup classes within a 30-day period.
  •  Makeup classes must be taken within 30 days of the missed class and expire after 30 days. Unused makeups do not carry over beyond the 30-day period.
  •  A makeup must be requested in advance of the missed class. Makeup requests submitted after the missed class may not be eligible.
  •  Makeup classes must be taken in the same dance genre as the dancer’s regularly scheduled class and at the dancer’s current level or a lower level.
  •  Makeup classes are subject to class availability and studio approval. A makeup does not guarantee placement in a specific class.
  •  Makeup classes are intended to provide an opportunity to make up for an occasional absence and may not be used to attend classes outside of the dancer’s enrolled schedule on a recurring basis.
  •  Makeup classes have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another dancer, and cannot be exchanged for tuition credit.

MEMBERSHIP CHANGES & MAKEUP CLASSES
Studio Fusion Dance requires 30 days’ written notice for any membership
cancellation, class withdrawal, or reduction in a dancer’s enrolled class schedule.
If a family chooses to reduce their membership, drop a class, or cancel their enrollment:

  • Any unused makeup classes associated with the dancer’s enrollment will expire upon the effective date of the membership change or cancellation.
  • Makeup classes cannot be used after a dancer is no longer enrolled in the applicable class(es).
  • Families may not use accumulated makeup classes during a 30-day cancellation period in place of regular tuition or as a means of extending enrollment beyond the effective cancellation date.
  • Once a class or membership is dropped, any remaining makeup eligibility
    associated with that enrollment is forfeited.

YEARLY TUITION & STUDIO HOLIDAYS
Studio Fusion Dance operates on a yearly tuition schedule. Monthly tuition payments are calculated based on the annual cost of dance instruction and are divided into convenient monthly payments. Because the annual tuition already accounts for scheduled studio holidays and breaks, makeup classes or tuition credits are not provided for regularly scheduled studio closures.
Scheduled breaks include:
One week during Spring Break
 One week around the beginning of July
 One week during Thanksgiving
 Two weeks during the Christmas holiday
These scheduled breaks are incorporated into the annual tuition and are not considered missed instructional classes.

INDIVIDUAL ABSENCES
Makeup classes are intended for occasional individual absences and are subject to the policies outlined above. Studio Fusion Dance reserves the right to limit makeup placement based on class capacity, dancer level, and appropriate class placement. Our makeup policy allows dancers flexibility when unexpected conflicts arise while ensuring that class sizes, instructional quality, and enrollment remain consistent for all Studio Fusion families.

Additional Fees:
If a student decides to participate in the annual Recital, the annual Nutcracker performance, or in-studio showcases, additional fees will be required.

Studio Policies:

  • A registration fee of $50.00 is required for every dancer upon enrollment and is charged once every 12 months for as long as the dancer remains enrolled at Studio Fusion Dance.
  • Please arrive on time and ready to dance.
  • Please do not interrupt classes to speak with instructors or students.
  • No unauthorized personnel or children behind the desk at any time.
  • Stereo equipment is only to be operated by authorized personnel.
  • Children not here to attend classes must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • No cell phones in class at any time.
  • All food must be eaten in lounge area.
  • No food, drinks, candies, and/or gum allowed in dance rooms with the exception of closed water bottles.
  • No bare feet in the lobby or lounge area.

POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Enrollment at Studio Fusion Dance constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the studio’s makeup, membership cancellation, and tuition policies. Policies are subject to change at the discretion of Studio Fusion Dance, with appropriate notice provided to enrolled families.
